I have been talking to a few guys from Toyota up here in Sunny QLD and I found a really nice chap north of Brisbane called Jerry.

Anyway I have gotten the contact details of the Asia-Pacific Rep for TRD over in NZ

Has anyone ever gotten anywhere with these guys as far as parts etc. are concerened or am I wasting my time??

I have been in contact with the NZ rep a few times about the TRD CAI, although I didn't buy the unit, I didn't seem to have any probs getting information off him about prices and shipping etc.

Just got a reply from Bruce (TRD Rep)

TRD USA is a subsidiary of TRD Japan although they hate to admit it. They

make components for the bigger Yankee style vehicles in the Toyota range.

We buy a few products from them but most of the products they supply to fit

'our' kind of vehicles are actually sourced ex Japan anyway.

An exception is the CAI unit for the Corolla Sportivo which they make

themselves for the Matrix - a very ugly typically American wagon.

Thankfully, the engine & the engine bay is identical to the Corolla.

We've been selling the CAI for AUD$470 including postage. With recent

movements in the US$ this may come down a  little.

The grille is AUD$320 plus postage.

The extractor is expensive at AUD$1275 plus postage, but it's a bit of a

work of art and has recently been 'redesigned' to produce more power than

the first version.

The muffler is AUD$665 plus postage.

Can't help with eyelids.

cheers

Bruce

Any words on the prices here?

Cheers :D
