CAMRY HELP!!!!

hey ive got a 2000 camry in-line 4 advantage (mums old car passed it to me) :), its a 2000 model so therefore it has the old long body which is simple and honestly ****!, i was hoping if i could get some sites from u guys to help me redesign the car. i was thinking full body kit with carbon fibre wing and bits and pieces. can u guys help with that???

i also would like to ask for some help to modify the engine t pull out more power from its ****ty in-line 4 engine -_-" sigh.

as u can see im fairly new to modifing camrys, i do know abit of tuning and the basics of modifing, it jsut owuld be nice to get some feedback from experience owners.

what you can do with a Camry (or any car for that matter), is only upto your imagination, and your wallet

well there are a few bodykits avaliable for the Series20 Camry B)

if it is still avaliable, the GTP Kit from Toyota looks pretty good.

but if you are looking for something more after-market try this place:

they have a few bodykits for Camrys and also universal wings :)

In the way of performance.....it gets a little difficult there, I used to have a Widebody Camry with the same engine as you, and to be honest, your not really going to get a whole lot more power out of it, unless you do something big, like adding a turbo :P

exhaust and intake modifications help add a little bit of power, nothing major though.

there arent many Camry owners on this forum unfortunately....

and my dads got a 04 Kluger, i drive that sometimes

its really upto you, what type of cars you into (sedans, coupes, hatch, etc)? new or used?

but for 30k im sure you can get almost whatever you want :D

as far as i know TRD dont make a kit for the Camry....

the closest thing i guess would be that GTP Kit :P

it might be still avaliable, if you give Toyota a buzz you might get lucky B)

There are more lits available in the U.S more than here. Any bodykit maker can do you a custom kit, but it will cost big $$$, last time i asked it was about $850 and up, per bar.

There are plenty to choose from.

That should keep you a little busy for awhile. Now remember, the GTP kit is about the only bolt on kit, besides carmate. The rest of them will be custom made.

I think Toyota doesnt make the GTP bodykit anymore :o (but i might be wrong). THE GTP bodykit would be nice if you can get them + its not as low as the other bodykit & looks great!

I saw 1 camry with the GTP near Pennant Hills area and it was Green. if that's your car please own up :P & show yourself to us :D

but import is fine, my friend his has a workshop specialise in custom engine parts and he goes to america nad jap alot and sends a ship container full of parts and stuff, so ill jsut give him 100 aussie to throw it in with his stuff
