Hi all,

What is the advantage of having a lightweight crank pulley (same as original size) in our 1ZZ's?? are they any downside to this? I saw some for the U.S 1Zz's will they fit ours?

There's no real advantages when you consider the disadvantages of the poverty-pack non-dampened crank pulleys. Faster bearing wear, transmitting ALL the vibration from your ancillaries to the crank main bearings, etc etc. Riceboys will say they're a great thing though...

Tons of info on why the cheap alloy crank pullies are a bad idea, if you want a "light" crank pulley, get Ross Balancers or similar to design one matched to your engine harmonics.
