Hey Guys,

I've got a celica 6gen with a carbon fibre bonnet which used to be in a state of disrepair. It was all cloudy and had a very rough look. Probably the worst CF bonnet in history.

A whole saturday and $40 later, I was able to restore it completely to a "near new" condition.

Check out my before and after photos and let us know what you think!

Good work mate. What was your primary product of choice if you don't mind telling?

No probs buddy.

I owe it all to these 3 chemicals in the pic below:

Funny thing is they're designed for boats. But they surely do one heck of a job.

I purchased mine from a local Supercheap Auto outlet.

1. Buffing using the cutting compound. I completely buffed the surface by hand until I was satisfied with the way it looked.

2. Polish - 3 layers with about 15-20mins between layers to allow drying and settling.

3. Restorer & Wax - Provides protection against weathering.
