Hi all i have been looking for a sportivo for my daughter she drives a automatic and every sportivo i seem to come across is a manual did they make many autos or did the sportivo only come out in manuals, debbie

Considering all ZZE Corollas had 1.8L engines (at least in Australia), that's not exactly earth-shattering.

But yes, it will be slower because even the "sporty" Levin has the exact same engine as the base model Ascent. Only the Sportivo had the 2ZZGE.

If your daughter likes the engine in the Sportivo and is willing to lose 2 doors the 00-05 Celica was sold here with an auto option.

Celicas around the same price. Insurance might be a bit higher tho. Get a ZR.

no its not the engine she was looking at its the style of the car the sporty look she likes

Then the Corolla Levin will be the one if it MUST be an auto. Though she will lose the leather and some luxuries.
