Recently got a new PC so no need for my notebook anymore.

Asus Notebook M51SE

Centrino Core Duo CPU 2.10ghz, 4GB DDR2 Ram, 320GB Hard-drive,15x4inch 256MB ATI 3470 Radeon Mobile Graphics, 1.3 MP Camera (built in microphone), bluetooth

Comes with Windows Vista OS

Drawbacks: loose hinge cover, escape button is slightly loose (but isn't prone to any problems at all)

Still has 6 months warranty

Ideal for multimedia purposes, even suitable for gaming

Just take it to the Perth service centre and they'll at least fix the hinge cover, if not the Escape key as well :) If you can't drop it in then they'll organise a courier to pick it up from you and return it (for free).

Yeah they're still getting used to things, I remember when my boss was helping to get them set up not too long ago. That and we've had a 'global part shortage' for as long as I can remember. You can put that down to an overzealous HQ in Taiwan not allowing the main warehouses to hold much stock at all because of the 'global recession'. As such most people have had to wait 1-2 months for their parts to get manufactured and then shipped over here... We've had a lot of angry people these last few months :( It's still going on and probably won't be back to normal until mid next year :P
