Hi all,

Would it matter if i was changing 1-2 on a downhill road and a uphill road?

from my experience...

if it was on uphill road..the revs will drop faster...thus harder to hit lift.

Is that true ?

isnt it completely logical that it would be harder to hit and land in lift uphill as opposed to travelling downhill

To land in lift 1-2 you need to be either on a flat or downhill, you also need to slip the clutch just a fraction as you come off it into second OR slam it hard and spin the wheels slightly, needless to say I prefer to use option 1, I would soon fix a clutch plate which has been prematurely worn by a month or so as opposed to fixing broken drive shafts and cracked bell housings.
