I have a '93 Toyota Town Ace and it has just started showing an orange oil can on the dash. What does this mean? It is not the red out of oil one.

Thanks - Eric

Its probably the same as the red one.

I would be checking your oil levels...

Thanks Mick. I just gave her a birthday and changed the oil and filter so am pretty sure the level is OK. If anything it may be overfull.

Does the light come on all the time or is it a on-off thing like when you go around corners?

I know some cars (especially commerical vehicles) have service indicators that can only be reset through the ECU, perhaps one of the oil-can lights is a reminder/overdue service light? And the other one is an actual low oil pressure indicator.

Best to consult a user manual (if there is one in the glovebox), or ask Toyota themselves.

It comes and goes and I never have had a user manual. I thought it may have been a common thing across the range.
