Changing a clutch plate

overlander

Recommended Posts

Hi

I am currently driving overland from Australia to the UK in my HJ75 Landcruiser with 2H diesel engine. Now in Dhaka, Bangladesh we've covered 85,000 km - about the same to go !

The clutch was last changed in Australia at 160,000km and it'll need doing again in around another 20,000 when we'll have done 370,000.

Does anyone know what other components have to be replaced together with the clutch? I'm not getting much in the way of straight answers here! At the garage in Dhaka they have a plate which they say will suit - which is number 31250-60170. When I tried to confirm this on www.toyodiy.com the number didn't have a perfect match theirs went from 60150- 60200 - not 60170 exactly. Be grateful if anyone has any knowledge re this - thanks.

Anyone interested can see our trip to date on www.drivingoz2uk2.com
