hey,

just wondering if anyone knows where to buy "whirly birds" for the roof of the house and how much it costs? also does the government have rebates for the whirly birds? thanks

Hey, I know you can definately get them from plumbing shops.. for around $100 inc gst.. in what they call 'Mill Finish' which is the standard finish... kinda like zinc. You can also get these in colourbond colours to match your roof tiles, and these would go for around $130 inc. Might also find them in hardware stores like Bunnings.

As for rebates, i don't know about other states, but in Vic, there isn't any... I don't think these would fall under any class for rebates as they don't 'SAVE' anything... they only take the moisture and hot air out from under the roof.
