In-Built Bluetooh set up in Presara

Guys,

Any help re setting up bluetooth for my presara is much appreciated. I looked at the nav manual but didn't quite get to understanding it. Problem is, sat nav displays "connecting" after I enter passcode but does nothing. Any hints / tips?

try deleting the device('car multimedia' it should say) on your phone then try pairing it up again. i'm not so sure what's causing the problem your experiencing.

My issue is, my mobile is not able to recognise "Car Multimedia" device to proceed with pair with. Any idea if this is an issue with Mobile or in-built system? Any config that needs to be changed in the sat nav system?

the sat nav bluetooth is normally very good. what type and model phone do you have.

i have had so many issues with bluetooth. and it stems from a lot of different phones and incompatibility.

there are a few phones that are just not compatible , nokia 6720 ,6320 . telstra t90 t65 and most of the zte range, a few motorolla v razors. in the eyes of toyota the unit (fujitsu ten) is said to be most compatible the satnav units are a lot better than standard units.

there are a few tricks if the phone hangs whilst pairing. if the phone is in general profile sometimes taping the key pad of the phone so the unit sees it to finish the handshake.

let me know your phone details (model brand etc)
