Newbie! - 03 Rolla - Want to make more power??

hey guys I'm new to the forum,

I have a 03 corrolla and its my daily.

I want to get abit more power out of it and its due for a service

Just wondering what would be the best, plug,oil filter and any simple tips to make it abit more zippy. i was thinking about making up a cold air intake or running a k&n Pod filter.

Dont want to sound like a ***** but if you bought the sportivo you might not have his problem but ..

to answer some of your questions ,

In my wifes 05 zze122 corolla i have KN Panel filter and NGK Iridium Spark plugs and run Castrol Edge 5-30W which IMO makes its more responsive (all combined ie).

You can put a CAI and an exhaust system which will add to your zippiness but it wont make it a race car .Full exhaust system will be more beneficial but costly.

These are some very basic things that can be helpful. Other more educated and knowledgeable ppl on this forum may be able to assist you more .

yeah def understand, its due for service so i thought if there was any combo i could use to make it abit zippy. not after a race car or anything.
