When going over certain bumps the rear drivers suspension area makes a crunch/squeek noise. What could it be and is it as easy to replace as the old vk commodore?

Also do you need to grease ball joints on these?

98 v6 Camry.

Thank you.

its a weak shocker by the sound of it. its most like that your shockers have worn out as the camry's 12 years old now unless its been replaced previously. or maybe the screw on the shocker has become loose.

Could be a few things, anything from well worn struts to worn bushes to a scrubbing RSB.

I'd probably get it checked at a suspension joint, most places offer a free check + quote. Let them know you're shopping around and they'll try to give you a competitive price.
