Ah yes now I know that wheel,i've only seen it in black/red ring and the centre machined which looks terrible, too fussy but in silver it does look alot better, what size you looking at?

hehe.. yes! the black/red isn't nice.

but okay , you were judging the rim only, but how about the rim on my car? will it suit?

and i think i might put 18", offset 45, with 225/35 tires..

I like them and think they suit, the only thing that puts me off is the machined centre, stands out too much, look like two bandaids but the spokes and lip look great...but yes much nicer than the black version

Bandaids..?!? hahaha. never looked at it that way tongue.gif

So how about the color..? what color is opal? like gunmetal? lighter or darker?

ahh yes i agree with john's opinion... bandaid FTL... 18s are huge... u don't mind spending the money on the tyres?

hmm.. looks like it's not a good choice after all huh?

I guess i'll be searching again for some other kind of wheels.

and yes, i would really love to put in 18's.

They're a bit busy for my liking, but they're not all bad.

Which tyres were you thinking? 225/35 or 215/40?

Either way, big drop in sidewall so ride comfort musn't be your major priority. I looked into 18s, but couldn't justify the cost of the rims I wanted (I was looking at $2800-3000 for the set) and was never completely comfortable on potential ride quality and clearance considering my car is lowered.

Not trying to convince you not to get them. I would love the look of 18s on mine, I'm just a little gun-shy!

EDIT: Oops, just re-read and you were thinking 225/35. Sorry, I missed that bit.

Thanks for the comment.

I know ride comfort will be something to concern about, but i don't think that's gonna be holding me back choosing 18" over 17".

If it either is this 18" or another model, but i definitely want to put 18's.

It's not my daily ride, so i think that i can handle it.

Any recommendation on a model that will suit my car?

Those wheels would look quite nice.

Ive got 18" RSGT wheels with 215/35 tyres, My wagon isnt a daily so it spends more time in the garage than anywhere else.

Im already in the process of getting some 19x7.5 Konig Holes.
