I have a 2009 79 Series Ute with the airbags in it and was wondering what other peoples oil consumption levels have been. I have been using about 200mL of oil between services and the vehicle has now done about 20,000km. I was told that the consumption levels would stabilise after 20,000km and that word of mouth was that there was a valve in the turbo replaced in this model to help the oil consumption compared to the non air bag V8 Utes. Does anybody know truths on this and is there any warranty items on this model.

Also what exhausts have people put on there vehicles (brand wise). I have a 3" exhaust system with a hi-flow exhaust and am finding better fuel economy.

Red,

Got the 10 version, Fuel economy is pretty good standard, How you finding the 3"? Looking for a twin turbo kit for her, allegedly they exist but cant fond any hard facts as yet. Oil consumption is pretty standard, tust turned 28 000 today and no worries.
