Where is the Oil Filter for an 08 Tarago GLi?

Hi Guys,

New owner of a 2008 Tarago GLi and was just wondering if someone can point me as to where to locate the engine oil filter.

Ive checked the owners manual but cant seem to find anything on it, only mentions how to top up with oil.

Ive had a look into the engine bay from the top view, but cant seem to see it. Whats it near?

If you have the 4 cylinder model, your oil filter is in the same location as the current and previous generation 4 cylinder Camry. That engine is the 2AZ-FE. If you have the 6 cylinder model, the oil filter is in the same location as the Aurion or Gen 2 Kluger. That engine is the 2GR-FE.

Finding details on how to access/change the oil filter on these two engines is not hard to find. Just search the forum here or Google.

sorry to be a pain in the butt, but i still seem to be having trouble finding it.

Ive googled and searched the engine and oil filter location but i cant seem to find anything.

Ive literally looked around the whole engine bay too but still cant seem to see it, is it hidden somewhere in the bay?

I've never actually owned a camry before so i dont really know where to start looking. I came to the tarago from a Honda....

Big favour to ask but would anyone be able to post a pic of where in the bay i can find it?

You never answered which engine you have. Judging from the sounds of it, you have the V6 model because of the simple fact that you can't find the filter. I'm guessing you are looking for the traditional oil filter. If you have the V6... well guess what, you won't find your typical oil filter.

The procedure for the V6 is something like this:

If you have the 4 cylinder version, it's not hard to Google "2AZ-FE oil filter change".

sorry, forgot to mention it.

I have the 4 cylinder GLi

so according to this link 'Car Guru' it is under the car near the oil pan.

Just like the new Honda Civics then i guess
