hey all

I got my car recently serviced just the basics for 140,000. The prob is when i start up, somtimes i have to give it a second go, like it does kick over within 3-5 seconds but it is usually instant. What could this be? Toyota who serviced my car said everything looks sweet

Possibly crap fuel... Try filling up with something else...

Had 3 cars in at work with the same problem also including mine that didn't want to start at all last week... Always used Caltex 98 from the same servo... They got a makeover and got all new pumps, filled up and a day later didn't want to start... Went on the same for a few days till one morning it took about 3 constant minutes cranking over till it started... Went to BP that afternoon and filled up with BP Ultimate 98 to mix in with the remaining 1/4 tank of Caltex, been fine since that :)
