Hey all, long time Lurker, first time poster...I think.

I have purchased but not yet received a 2011 MY11 Rav4 CV 2WD 2.4l Wildfire Red, what a mouth full.

I will need to make sure the vehicle I pick up is indeed a MY11 as that is what I was promised.(not a MY09)

Can anyone tell me where I will be able to locate this information? eg, On the compliance or build plate, or on the Registration papers or vehicle books/manuals.

Thanks in advance, looking forward to getting the car and contributing to the forum.

Hello!

You can either check the rego sticker on the windscreen or check the (rectangular) steel plate in the engine bay with all the manufacturing/engine details. :)

On the more recent Toyota's, you will now find the compliance plate in the form of a sticker on the passenger side door sill:

Thanks guys I see some info regarding build date and VIN etc but nothing showing MY?? Do I determine the Model Year (MY) from the build date?
