35th Toyota Nationals 2011 Easter Weekend 22-26th April

Recommended Posts

The Time of year has come around again for the

35th Annual Toyota Nationals

Easter Longer Weekend the 22-26th April 2011

For those that have been before expect a lot more of the same action spread over a full 5 days instead of 4, and for those that haven't been before you should be asking yourself why.

Toyota Nationals Is held every year in Dubbo NSW, the location chosen years ago due its central location. Its an even 5hour drive from Syd, ACT and Newcastle, with those from Brisbane and Melbourne looking at around 10hrs. I even know of some guys from S.A making the trek.

This Easter Weekend is a longer long weekend with the inclusion of the ANZAC public holiday as well as the Easter Public holidays.

Here is the plan for the weekend

Meet ups on the Friday the 22nd a public Holiday (PH)

Sydney: Blacktown Macca's Cnr Third Ave and Sunnyholt road, this year will include an alternate route around Bathurst. 8:30 for a 9 leave

ACT: Truck Stop Barton Hwy @ Hall 8:30 for a 9 leave

Newy:TBA

Friday Night: Pizza Dinner at the Matilda

Saturday: Show and Shine in Dubbo

Sunday:Drags at Wellington 1/8 mile strip with the Dubbo City Car club

Monday (PH): Motor Kana

Monday Night: Presentation Dinner

Tuesday (PH): Dive home and year to go til next year.

Nationals is a great weekend away, a great time to meet fellow Toyota enthusiasts from all around the Country, its a great time to maybe have your first go at a Drag race and or a Kana, and its a fantastic weekend just to talk crap and look at awesome cars.

The last time i went down to Orange and Dubbo was about 4 months ago.

After my last visit, I always thought that i wont be seeing Dubbo ever again.

thats said, if we do have a few members going from Sydney, ill be more then happy to join :)

Ronny boy, I only go to Dubbo once a year and its this time of year. There would be at least 15-20 cars leaving from Macca's in Sydney.

Zeinheiger I'm not to sure how many are coming from Melbourne.

For those thinking of coming;

If you are half interested about coming I will guarantee you will have a blast. Its a great weekend to hang out with some like minded people and check out a massive amount of tuff Toyota's from all era's

Check out this Toymods thread to gauge how and where people are coming Link to threadfrom.
