Hey guys, i went to get my car serviced the other day and apparently my rear brakes are at less than 10%.

They have quoted me $279 to get the pads and machine discs replace. i was wondering if the price sounds right

or am i getting ripped off. And recently ive been driving and the back wheels sound like its making a screeching noise.

When i hard brake the noise will go. I was wondering if this is caused by my worn out brakes?

it shouldn't be that expensive for the rears as they should cheaper than the front, have u changed the front ones before? cos the rear one last quite a while..

i changed my front brake pads and got the disc machined last weekend

front brake pads: $120 for a pair (good quality)

discs machined: $50 for both front ones

labour: $50
