hello there, I'm new to this club and have a problem with my corolla hatchback

Its a 2004 hatch and I had the HID Lights fitted last year and now the drivers side has water condesation inside the light and I have checked the back lid and its on tight.

Could there be a cracked somewhere or what

Thank You

Hey man,

It might sounds painful, but I would take it out and go over it with a fine tooth comb (go looking for cracks). There is no reason wet should be getting in.

Once you found the problem, let the headlight dry out completely and then seal it up with silicone.

Hope this helps.

ur doing it wrong?! why are u putting liquid in ur light housing? thats where the bulb goes... lol...

nah - seriously tho, another place to look for any issues is in the rear rubber that goes over where u put the bulb in... my BZ touring lights that I put in my AE102R were brand new and looked find and it turned out there was a small 1cm crack in the rubber so I just reused one of the original ones and it fixed the problem...

Hope that helps also :)

hi all, forgot to tell you that when i had HID install the auto personhad cut a small corner off in the plastic backing lid to feed the wires through and its about a 20mm diameter hole could that be the fault.

As the condensation is inside on the front top of the head light
