Lift kit modifications

Recommended Posts

Hi was just wondering if anyone could help me I have a 03 single cab 4x4 and is thinking of put a 2" suspension and 2" body lift under it. What extra mods do I need to do to make this happen?

if you plan on 2" body and 2" springs you'll squeeze in 32's with no probs....but if you want to fit in 33's there may be some scrubbing. anthing higher than 2" in spring lift there is a fair bit of work then needs to be done.

torsion or coil springs at the front?

ill assume u plan on fitting some big wheels/tyres?

Torsion, its got the original suspension that is very sad after 130 000 ks and needs to be replaced so while I'm there I thought I might aswell jack it up for the future. Do I need to do anything to the brake lines or anything like that or is it just the suspension and body blocks and that's it?

Is there anything else that I will need to do like brake lines ect ect for the lift? Or is it as simple as the suspension and lift blocks?

suspension left for lfs torsion is a pain (i got a b2600 and im just going to get a patrol/landcruiser down the track instead of lifting it)

can be down but lots of messing around(correcting the + camber)

for the bodylift on the mazda, things like steering rack, fuel filler, brake/clutch lines, bumpers, shifters, etc needed adjustment/extension

maybe for toyota it would be easier but for the b2600/courier its alot of money
