Greetings all

Can anyone please offer some advice about the DAS-6 random orbital polisher from Car Care Products.

For those who have one, is it as GR8 as the price suggests ??

It is expensive, however looks very very simple to use, as per their video.

I would like some honest feedback if its worth its price tag.

I don't mind spending the coin, if its bang for bucks and simplicity to use, warrant the cost.

I purchased a new Prado back in June, and want to really make it shine.

Cheers

I bought one from car care products a little while back and have used it several times since. It's perfectly fine! Build quality is good, feels quite solid. Has an adjustable speed, which is great! Performs quite well. Haven't had any issues with it what so ever.

When you compare this to some of the other RO polishers you can buy, like Bosch one's for example - this is no where near as expensive and is certainly value for money! I'd certainly recommend it.

Hey Angelo,

I too have acquired one of these products and will be giving it a whirl next weekend.

I might do a step-by-step guide if I get the time.

Stay tuned ;)

Hi all

Well i decided to purchased the DAS 6 for myself, and used it yesterday on my wifes car.

Its a 2002 Subaru GT Forester, silver in colour.

I first washed it using the two bucket method, dried it and then used a clay bar.

I thought at that stage after using the clay bar, the paint was slick and smooth.

But then I pulled out the big guns, the DAS 6.

I only used the fine cut Menzerna polish which came as a package with the DAS 6.

The pain correction finish I achieved was incredibly amazing.

I can now see some very fine blemishes in the paint, which were obviously there during the time it was sprayed in the factory.

By this I mean, fine specs in the paint .

Now that i've used the DAS 6, Im gonna use it on my brand spanking new Pardo.

The only thing I didn't do on my wife's car was hit it with the Dura Gloss 2 step polish, which i've already used on my Prado. That in itself is a great product to use.

Stay tuned for more.

Cheers

Ange..
