Hi Guys,

Can anyone recommend a good workshop on the Central Coast NSW for a Camry? My 1997 V6 seems to be misfiring, running really rough, my local mechanic who I go to for pink slips etc has suggested changing spark plugs and leads and quoted around $500 as reckons it will take them hours to take intake manifold etc off to do it. I tried doing them myself but just cannot get anywhere near the back spark plugs (managed 1 but not the other 2).

While changing the plugs I could get at I noticed a small amount of oil around the spark plug hole and under the leads boot. I read this is caused by leaking spark plug tube and will need the valve cover seals replaced also.

Nothing against the local mechanic but hoping there is somewhere that has more speciality in these cars and will take less time as cant really afford all of this at the moment and am worried that $500 spent will still not solve the problem.

Thank you for any advice, Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong area.
