hey guys i went for a test drive in a G6E turbo and i have to say i **** my pants this thing is a monster i mean its got toooo much power.the guy told me that this car comes with FPV could air intake & a FPV cluster badges. now i was told the FPV could air gives an extra 15KW so the car has a whopping 285 kw OMG.streets were wet the guy was doing 80 he put his foot down car went sideways seriously i thought my m8ts s15 was fast but i was wrong this thing is fast there is no way a holden can beat a ford turbo so now i have to test drive a trd and decide between a trd or a g6e turbo

the whole purpose behind the G6ET styling is that its for the more "senior" car enthusiast... ie, it has clean lines and a 'elegant' body... by putting the F6 bars on it, you're ruining it.

each to their own, but just know that these "kits" never fit right and they look like sh!t...

you do have a point not sure if i want to do that but the fg f6 kit is so hot : )

I'm telling you man if you get the TRD, you are going to want to get some more power out of it. When that desire finally settles in, you are going to be greatly disappointed.

Cut your losses and save the disappointment. I know I can't make up your mind for you but I just feel like expressing myself.

i dont mean to be the one that burst your bubble, but if that intake mod makes an additional 15kw, then i'll strip down and run through the queen street mall naked.

these cars make very very very minor power increases without a tune.

i have a full fmic kit and intake kit on mine and i would highly doubt i'm making even 10kw more.

but once i installed the exhaust/injectors and tune it, i'll be looking at about a 80-100kw jump in power.

Colour is Silver, SL's only came in black or silver from memory. Has the log books and full service history. No accidents, car gets little use as I also have a prado a 66 mustang and a work car. TRD is my wife's car when she chooses to drive it. Had the car 3 years, got it with 10000k on the clock. I'm in Adelaide.

Ive decided I'm getting an EVO 9 MR next year, saving up atm for it. They go damn hard! prob not as fast as an XR6 Turbo, but add a few corners and the Fords going to see taillights :P

Id rather the Supercharged Toyota Crown Majesta 4.6L V8 (1UR-FSE) RWD ANYDAY over any othese cars :P Made in Japan 311 KW is goodbye XR6T :P and has a bar fridge to drink and drive hahaha (joking) These engines are 100% bullet proof! Anycar made in Australia is poor quality. Sorry about your TRD mate!
