RUBBER COUPLING FOR TRD CAI

Can anyone advise me as to where I can purchase a rubber coupling for my TRD cold air intake as shown in the attached pictures. I have noticed some small surface cracks on it and I would like to replace it before they get any worse.

All help will be greatly appreciated.

you can get a silicon one from SCA, but it might be a tad exp, i got a rubber one from bunnings for like $10

u can order a hose on ebay and get it sent to you, get a good quality silicon one. the one for a turbo intercooler and that should last you a while :) not sure about the angle but i guess u can measure it urself to see what you require.

Given the uniqueness of the angle on the hose, I am not able to find on the Internet any straight couplings that will be a direct fit. Additionally, I called TRD USA and they do not sell the coupling separately :(

diameter is the issue as its metric and most of the bends you can get here are imperial. 2.5' is too small and 3' is too big. if you can get something close to 2.75' it may fit you need something that is soft and pliable otherwise it wont seal. 2.75' is not a common size most companies carry in stock. remember it has to be able to be somewhat oil, fuel and heat resistant.

I use a Turbosmart 2.75" 45 degree silicone hose. However, it cost me $80. Bit exy for something small but then again durable as hell.

It's a snug fit, so be prepared for some pushing and shoving on the throttle body and on the TRD cai.

I bought a blue one from supercheap, it wasn't supercheap :( 45 degree forgot what size, had to trim both sides to make it small but looks pretty good

I find just using a little water to moisten it helps, and water evaporates so it wont hang around. (don't go using any sort of oil)

Put it in hot water, softens it up.. Will go back to normal in a few mins

I purchased the Turbosmart 2.75" 45-degree hose, however it was an extremely tight fit. When I measured the outer diameter of my throttle body it was 3" however ,the outer diameter of the CAI was 2.75" so I have the Turbosmart 3" hose on order and I know it will fit much nicer this time when I get it as I did not like the stretch of the hose on the throttle body when I tried fitting the 2.75" hose.
