I am wondering if there is problem putting 235/40/R17 rims on a Corolla 2002. The standard rims are 195/60/r15. Eg. would they be illegal?

u can go 2 inches more than stock rims. so you're good :)

near perfect fit, depending on the offset - you might just squeeze though with out having to roll your guards

depends on offset and ride height, maybe do a test fit?

235 is pretty wide
