Hi everyone,

I am a retired motor mechanic / electronics technician who has a 1994 LH125 Toyota Hiace Commuter that is being converted to a campervan / mobile radio shack. (I am a licenced amateur radio operator as well)

To that end it's being fitted with a bed, a 100litre water tank, a rudimentary kitchen setup (most cooking will be done outdoors or under the awning) and a place to operate my radio gear.

It currently has over 250A/H of battery capacity for the 80litre Engel fridge, 2 LED lights and the radio gear with more on the way.

It tows around my 12M telescopic mast that is mounted on a boat trailer and I use the gear not just for my hobby but for emergency communications where it is needed.

I look forward to enjoying my stay here on the board, from what I have seen so far it will be quite informative.
