TOYOTA ZRE WIRE SETUP ?

Hey

Just wanted to know if anyone knows the toyota corolla zre152r wire set up cause I recently put a new headunit in and everything is working fine buy I left out a few wires cause there was no more wires to connect it too ? So my keyless entry stop working iv changed the battery on my key but still not working does anyone know if its one of the wires in my headunit ?

Hey mate,

Sounds a bit weird. What headunit did you install? When you say you left out a few wires, is this from the new headunit side or wires from the rolla? From the top of my head, there shouldn't be any wires left over from the rolla side.. So technically, shouldn't affect the keyless entry in any way. You however, may have blown the fuse for it; have you had a look at the fuse box?

its a sony xplod headunit .(1 din)

The wiring that I left out is the second plug that you pull out of your factory headunit the small one I think its the one that's conected to the driving wheel ? . And only installed the really big plug with all the speaker wires ... Ground wire.... And fuses iv checked all of them would you have a clue which fuse it would be for the central locking ?
