MY 2011 KX-S AWD 19" Tyres

2011 KX-S Cosmos Blue

Recommended Posts

Hi, seen the other tyre threads but wanted one specifically for this model - 245/55/19 103s and 19x7.5.

Unfortunately after 24k the servicing dealership says to replace. Nitrogen since birth and rotated so finding it hard to understand what more I could have done. Will get some other opinions over the weekend. Bridgestones on the CX-7 lasted 22k and its just surburban driving. Maybe its all the local corners and start stop as opposed to driving to Perth and back 4 times?? Maybe its soft Bridgestones and the age old ride v comfort v budget? Thoughts??

In terms of replacement sizes and prices. Does anyone know what sizes are ok without impacting insurance companies. Also what prices and brands other than Bridgestone are getting the wraps at the moment.

Thoughts greatly appreciated as a bit annoyed that only got 24k out of a set.

Sorry posted twice as link was hung for 30 seconds and must have clicked it again. Maybe op can delete one - sorry.

^ If its the 19inch wheels then the prices are ridiculous

Most of the time klugers need new tyres as they've been run on low pressures and the sides wear out whereas theres plenty of tread left in the centre

Just something to keep in mind, might not help OP

There are things you buy on ebay and there are things you don't buy on ebay. Not sure where the tyres fit into this. Can you buy balancing, alignment, fitting onto rims off ebay as well???

Yes I hear you, I was simply providing a pricing reference for you.

Take note many are actual tyre retailers and can do the fitting, etc. and as always buyer beware.
