Hi, i have a 1988 camry stationwagon. I helped to jump start a friend car yesterday and as his started my revs dropped even tho i was giving it acceleration and then it stopped, and now it wont start. I turns over and the battery is new. I dont know what has happened and i need my car for work.

what kinda car were u trying to jump start?

if you jump start a car thats got more power than u

its over for ur batt

If it's actually turning over as normal, your battery should be ok but I'd be getting the alternator checked.

It was most probably due to die at any moment and then the extra load from jump starting the car caused it to fail completely.
