Hi all

I have a 2008 (first registered 2009) Aurion Presara with 27,000 km on the clock. A month ago the mayday battery packed it in and I got another one fitted as I was still with Toyota Link. The battery cost $70 and to fit was $220. The fitting cost was high because (as the dealer told me) they have to remove the back seat and panelling (between seat and boot) to get to the battery. Just crazy!

As I had documented previous trouble with the battery performance - whilst it was still under warranty - Toyota did refund me 50% of the costs - but only after I put up a no surrender fight .

I will not be replacing it again and I will do without the Toyota Link services.

I would be interested to hear from anyone who has also had the mayday battery replaced and what it cost them.

thanks
