How do I remove a door mirror?

Hey all,

I have recently accidentally reversed into a pillar at the work car park on a bad day. Pillar was beside me, I reversed out and bang, the angle caused it to break the indicator glass and damage the frame, the mirror has also dislodged.

So I've bought a replacement (entire door mirror assembly) from a wreckers for $80 and plan on replacing it myself.

But a question,

How do I remove the entire door mirror assembly thing?

Tried looking through the FAQ and search but couldn't find anything.

Your help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Pop off the black plastic triangle section on the inside of the car on the other side of the mirror. From there you can remove the 3 x 10mm nuts that hold the mirror on.

Not as simple as that unfortunately (if i remember right)

You do have to pop off the black triangular trim, but you'll also need to take the door trim off to disconnect the mirror and reconnect new one
