2001 SR5 3L turbo ----> how to convert into a 4 berth camper

Hi Amigos

the current vehicle (SR5, 2001, 3L turbo diesel, seats 5. (two singles on the front, bench seat on the back)

I propose to remove back bench seat, change to two singles,

remove rear window, change into access hatch ifor access into rear fibreglass module that sleeps 4.

NOT sure about the following

is extension of chassis required.......fibreglass module made to suit and kept lightweight,

that is not a biggy , I know it has to be recertified, lights moved back, I am a competant welder

or else fit fibreglass module with stiffened floor that overhangs,

fit heavy duty springs 5 leaf or better

rust proof, re-paint black

Anyone here remotely done anything like this.......

I know that this vehicle can have a maximum payload of 900kg ( passengers 4 x 100kg =400kg gives max 500kg for module and all extras inside.

YOUR THOUGHTS.....cant see many ideas in photos..see attached photo
