Greetings all fellow 'Steamers,

Can anyone suggest a driving light setup for my 2002 Estima?

I live in an area which is littered with the carcases of ex wombats and post kangaroos which make night driving a clear and present danger to my full body kit.

The original lights are totally inadequate, in the standard form but, the fitting of additional driving lights seems to be a bit awkward. The full body kit presents some difficulty, it seems to me.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Also, is it practical/feasible to remove the rear seats, on a temporary basis. I admit that I have not had a 'in depth' investigation; just thought I would throw this question into the mix.

I really love driving this beauty but, the thought of a heavy duty, animal type smack in the face, fills me with dread.

I anxiously await the coming of wisdom.

Cheers David Graham.

Mainly got the lights sorted by polishing the plastic covers. Driving lights will be added.

Managed to remove the back row of seats in preparation for a trip up to Sydney and Canberra.

Getting them out was not bad but, refitting was a nightmare, due to the release cables being monstrous to reconnect.

Persistence and swearing prevailed.

A new radio/GPS etc. is about to arrive and, I hope that the window aerials are sufficient, living in the sticks, as we do. $136 posted.

It will be nice to have an onboard Nav. system to save having to continually relocate the one in the Falcon.

I still love driving this beauty.

Driving lights installed on front ski bar , wired,(with isolating switch), into high beam circuit; fantastic !
Window antennae work very well.
Just( yesterday) acquired a 2013 Petrol Commuter bus, future half-assed camper and double bass transporter.
A nice bit of kit.
