Hi friends.I have a 2012 grande Aurion and I want to remove steering column cover because of squeaking my steering wheel.does any body know how to do it?!

Look under the column and you will see the screws that hold the 2 pieces of plastic together. Undo them and pull the plastic apart, these will most likely clip together too. Be careful with spraying any lubricant in there, you don't want to get it in to any of the wire connectors.

thank you mr2.i removed it and sprayed lubricant but it didn't stop squeaking.

the sound is coming from red block in image.

If the steering shaft goes through the ignition housing then there will be a bearing cage and the top and bottom of the housing, these will be greased ans shouldn't be squeaking. could it be from in behind the steering wheel or even further down the shaft where it goes through the fire wall?
