Ascent Sport 2013 Fuel economy

Recommended Posts

I had my 2013 AScent Sport since March 13 and it currently had about 2200km on it. (1000km serviced)

I've been doing some fuel calculation and came up with the following figures.

Is this normal and is there anyone else out there getting simmilar result.

40L tank top up each time.

40L of E10 will last 450km city driving

40L of Unleaded 91 will last 460 -470km city driving

40L of Unleaded 91 will last 530- 540km highway driving

With fuel consumption, it's depends on a few factors:

- your driving style (lead foot or not, how high and quickly you rev etc)

- load you're usually carrying (always carrying people or usually driving yourself)

- fuel type (E10, 91, 95, 98)

- weight of your rims

- tyre pressures

Try 95 or 98 as Jeff said above and regularly check/pump your tyres.

hi guys / girls.

ive had mine for about 4 months.

ive only used 98oct

giving it a hard time 400

cruising 500 - 530

driving miss dasiy 600+

there a 50ltr tank, light comes on with a rough 10ltrs left so ive figgered, cause it usually only takes 38- 40ltrs

so they do have a fair bit in them when the range hits 0km till empty!

this is for the cvt auto

I've got the same car I get 8.1L/100 city driving. but CVT auto.

I also have the car going into limp mode when hitting a bump under power or breaking traction.

anyone else find this .. throttle no response and gear box does not advance in gears.

lasts about 10 seconds.
