12v Car Battery

Recommended Posts

dropped by a local SCA for a car battery test today.

was told the battery is good, just that it needs a charge from a battery charger.

results are:

volts:12.41v
CCA measured 275
CCA rating 325

do i really need to buy a battery charger? car cranks up fine atm, but battery is quite old.

You don't need a charger. If your car can crank and start, your alternator will charge the battery under everyday driving.

You could check the water level if it's not a sealed battery and top it up to the indicators.
