Does anyone know an independent repairer with access to non genuine parts? I have to have 2 lower control arms replaced and just cannot afford $1165 quote from Toyota. There must be an alternative, most of the cost is in parts. $420 each -= $840

Thanks for any help - I don't know where to start

Rockauto.com

They are a US based seller but I believe the Highlander is the Kluger equivalent. They have non-Toyota lower control arms for 2004 Highlander as little as $60AU but whether they are suitable is the next question.
