Hi all,

I have a 84 hilux sr5 with a 5 speed manual gearbox. Hoping to put a commodore v6 or maybe v8 into it. Thinking of buying a cheap commodore (smashed rear end or something with low Kms) and using as much of it as I can for the conversion....Engine, A/C, power steering etc. I am hoping to keep the 5speed gearbox so I can keep the 4wd capabilities. If anyone could give advice on the subject I would really appreciate it. Love the old shape and hoping to make a reliable car to enjoy for years to come.

Mitch
