2012 Aurion Petrol Smell after filling up

I am noticing when my Aurion is newly filled up I get a very strong petrol smell and maybe some small drops is this normal I do not believe I over fill the tank and this does not happen all the time. Does anyone know if this is a normal over flow issue I do not feel even if the tank is very full that petrol fumes or liquid should be overflowed in this way.

I got a 2013 Camry and never had any issues with smelling fumes. I always fill the tank til it stops - then fill again til the automatic stopper hits again. I be lookin closely or gettin it checked out - don't eff with flamables ^_^

I would get it checked out one of my other cars (no longer own) if i filled it over half i would get a strong petrol smell it turned out that the fuel tank had split half way up hence when filling over half would get the smell once i had the tank replaced the problem was gone
