hey!!

im having some problems with my '91 dual cab SR5's 4x4!! it seems to only happen occasionally, but sometimes when I put it in 4x4 i lose all my gears. The 4x4 selector (stick whatever you want to call it) stays where it should be with the light on the dash saying that its in the right gear, but it seems to think its going into neutral! The main shifter is engaging so it is a definate problem with the 4x4 selector but only happens when i change from forward to reverse. Its got me and every mechanic i have taken it to stumped!! the only way to get it to go back to normal is to remove the stick and put it back in. Has anybody else had any problems like this or is my car just special, because i miss my 4x4!!! :(

I have also tried 2 new sticks out of exactly the same Hilux's but im still having the same problem
