Window frustration

Hi, I have just replaced the window regulator on my 83 hiace van but the problem is worse! The window will go down but SO difficult to get back up.

I have tried softening the rubber, didn't help. Have tried oiling the tracks, didn't help.

I am at my wits end with this as now all I have is a very blurry window that needs super strength to get up.

Please help!

Did you Replace the Regulator Motor? Does it go up faster when you assist it with your hand while the window is going up?
