Help with Remote wire to Amp for Stock HU

Hi

im trying to hook up a a amp to the stock head unit but i'm having trouble locating the wire that will enable the amp to power up. I have tried the power antenna wire but the amp will only switch on when i use the radio and switches back off when i switch to disc/cd

just wondering if any of you know which cable i should be hooking the remote wire to so it will switch on my amp when i'm playing a cd?

you could hook the wire to the ignition wire, the HU will only work with it on anyway.

Ive used the ciggerette lighter before and that had no problems ...

just need to splice the wiring open and wa lah !

Thanks everyone.

Northy the sportivo doesnt have two power remote wires, however there is a pin in the female socket with a wire and i pushed the power antenna wire on the male socket to touch the pin on the female socket and that worked fine.
