Hey Guys,

Just thought id let you all know about my recent tyre experience.

When i got my Lenso white wheels i had Goodyear F1 215/40/r17s fitted. I know not the best tyre around but i didn’t have the $$$ at the time.

So 30,000 k's later they were all worn out.

Went to a few places around Sydney to get prices. I come across Top Ten Tyres in carramar. What a place. Cheap prices, knowledgeable service. Almost traded my 17" for 18"s.

Anyway they gave me a few different options. I ended up going for a 45 series tyre to try and fill that gap. LoL. I have lowered the car using King springs. I was worried that the 45 series was going to rub but they assured me it wouldn’t.

Anyway long story short,

- The 45 series tyre does not run at all even with my lowering springs.

- the 45 series tyre is more comfortable.

- And the Dunlop SP 9000 is the best tyre i have had on the corolla or any previous car. I cant believe the difference between the Dunlop and the Goodyear’s i had before.

Will coem to the next monthly meet so you can check them out..

Cheers

-Bill

Top Ten Tyres... Sounds familiar..

Is that the tyre shop that's on the corner of The Horsley Drive/Denison Road?

It kinda borders on Carramar and Villawood?

Hey did you mean..

-does not rub at all even with my lowering springs-?

instead of:

"Anyway long story short,

- The 45 series tyre does not run at all even with my lowering springs."

kinda might scare ppl away from 215/45/17 tyres if that misinterpretation.
