K&N Apollo

Recommended Posts

try shortening the feed into the pod. Cut it off where it goes into the front cavity, then use the rest of the pipe to feed cold air into that cavity. You should see an improvement in throttle response and top end power.

Would you say the gains made in the bottom make up for the loss in the top end, thats if the exhaust is not the cause of the loss

(I dont want to open up the debate)

Yeah for sure, all the loss from top end was gained throughout the revrange from 3-6000 rpm. it could be the exhaust, it could be the apollo, but the fact is the gain was only minimal 1-2 kw, either way the gains from the exhaust are not as drastic as some "others" which to me makes all their claims dubious. Put it this way, after driving an earler 03 model sportivo with 80 odd thousand k's and driving my car with the exhaust, there is no WOW factor as in yeah it's making a huge difference.
