Hi,

I am looking to change the seats in my 2004 hdj79 muster trayback but not sure which way to go.

After travelling over 3500kms within a week for work I realised just how uncomfortable the seats really are.

Option 1 is a set of buckets out of a vdj79 gxl trayback

Option 2 is a set out of a 200 series or Kakadu if they would fit

Option 3 is a set of aftermarket set

Years ago I had a bj73 mid wheelbase which had these seats in it that could only be described as suspension seats, they were unreal, i'm not sure if they were factory or not as my hj73 just had standard seats, if possible, this would be another option

If anyone out there has had any experience or knows someone who has successfully converted their ute to be more comfortable for excessive periods of travelling please reply cause these seats need to go.

Cheers

Most would need to be modified to fit, maybe even look at a newer Hilux seat as well.
