I've never been turned on by factory Sat Nav. The constant need to manually update the maps is ridiculous and most people either don't have the time or inclination to do it.

I have successfully lived without onboard navigation for many years and solely rely on Google Maps via my Android Galaxy phone.
It's free and you get real time updated navigation on the fly. It's never let me down or sent me down the garden path like some systems tend to do..

If you get your vehicle serviced at Toyota, as Robert mentioned, you can ask them to help with a replacement SD card, if that's what you prefer, but I don't think it will be cheap.

Save your money, keep the head unit as is and use it for the entertainment and reverse camera and simply use your phone for navigation. Just my two cents.

Have a great day
