Hello,

Im the owner of a 96 camry that needed a new stereo, so i went to the shop and bought one and went to fit it myself after previously been successful in other installations of stereos in previous cars

I proceeded to cut the stock camry adapter off and solder the new one on

i started by:
joining the black ground wire to the brown ground wire on the camry
then joining the yellow acc wire to the red/blue acc wire on the camry
then joining the red 12v constant to the red 12v constant wire on the camry

Since i knew this is all you need to test if its working appart from hearing anything i turned the car on and it worked, i then switched the car off to begin joining the speaker wires, i decided to turn the car on once more and this time i did not work, After this i have made discovers that this has affected the immobiliser as the cd player will only turn on after i have used the remote to turn the immobiliser off, but also the car cannot be locked until 30 mins have passed and the immobiliser has turned back on

Does anyone kno what wire would be causing this or have had this issue please assist in anyway
