40,000 service for corolla

Did any here do their 40k service for corolla. How much did it end up costing u and what parts did they replace at the service ?

had my 40000km service done about 2 months ago at frankston toyota in victoria. cost was $285.00, included new oil and filter,spark plugs, air filter and brake adjustments,possible more things where changed need to look at service docket again.

just had my 40,000 done on saturday ... supposed to cost me $550 at toyota dealer .. but my mechanic that worked there offered to do the job for me at home and stamp my warranty book. so cost was $200 .. oil & oil filter, top up all fluids, adjust brakes, spark plugs (but i;ve already got Platniums), flush coolant and replace, test drive vehicle, install voltage stabilizer.

As nice as it would be, its not the case. They wouldn't commit to prices ahead, given how long it could take some drivers to do 40K.

Best bet is to ring around a few dealers in your area ... they'll be happy to quote over the phone.

should cost less abt the $250 mark if u supply your own oil.. and arn't our Spark plugs supposed to be good for 80,000kms?
